Comments: A spreading, multi-stemmed shrub suitable for
use in sun or shade. The spikes (Vis. 1) of white flowers
of this native plant are produced in mid-summer. The plant
is bothered very little by foliage diseases and insects as
compared to other species of Aesculus. The foliage turns
yellow in the fall.
