Acer griseum--Paperbark Maple

Comments: Paperbark maple has peeling, papery, cinnamon-
brown bark (Vis. 1) and russet-red fall color as its main
ornamental traits (Vis. 3). The bark begins peeling on 2 or
3 year old branches.
Cultivars:
'Ginzam' (Gingerbread TM) - This A. griseum x A. nikoense
hybrid has an upright to oval habit and will reach a
height of 30 feet and a spread of 20 feet. The bark
retains it ornamental traits and the fall color is
orange and red.
