Comments: Burkwood Daphnes are the result of a cross between D. cneorum and D. caucasica. The flowers are pink and the foliage is semi-evergreen. The plant requires a cool site with an alkaline and well-drained soil. Provide exposure to full sun or partial shade.
Cultivars:
'Briggs Moonlight' - The yellow leaves have green
margins. Needs some shade.
'Carol Mackie' - A mounded shrub producing clusters of
fragrant pink flower in the spring. The foliage is
green with a white margin. The plant may
occasionally revert to green leaves.
'Silveredge' - Leaves edged with white, pink flowers.
'Somerset' - Fragrant pink flowers are produced in the
spring.
