Annual Growth Rate: 12 to 18 inches                         

Comments: A rarely seen evergreen that is native to the     
northwest U.S.  It is usually present in landscapes in the  
form of one of its cultivars.                               

Cultivars:                                                  
   'Densa Aurea' - A small, upright plant with yellow       
     foliage.                                               
   'Sullivan' - A 15-foot tall plant with a pendulous       
     habit.
