Alternanthera ficoidea--Calico Plant

Type: annual or house plant
Comments: Variegated leaves is the outstanding ornamental
characteristic of this plant. As indicated above, it may
be used as either a house plant or garden annual. Indoors
keep the soil moderately moist and the temperatures
between 60 and 85 degrees. Outdoors, provide a sunny
growing area. Pinching will keep the plant short and
bushy.
Propagation: Propagation is by 1 to 2 inch stem tip
cuttings which root quickly.
