Make Us Your Home Page

By making us your home page, you can easily keep track of what's happening in Genesee County and the greater Flint, Michigan community. You have easy access to accurate Flint weather from the National Weather Service, the latest news from Genesee County's newspapers and television stations, and links to a wide assortment of entertainement options. You also have at your fingertips a vast community database of statistical information as well as easy connections to your local, state and federal governments. We also have a built in a wonderful reference desk. All of this is in addition to great MSU Extension resources.

To make us your home page using INTERNET EXPLORER:

1. Click "Tools" on the standard toolbar above the screen. A pulldown menu will appear.
2. Click "Internet Options." A window with tabs will appear.
3. Click the tab marked "General." You will see three sections in the window. The top one is labeled "Home Page."
4. In the box marked "address," type our URL (http://www.msue.msu.edu/genesee) and click OK.

To make us your home page using NETSCAPE NAVIGATOR:

1. Go to "Edit" on the standard toolbar above the screen.
2. Select "Preferences..." from the bottom of the pull-down menu.
3. Click on the circle next to "home page" in the top right box. (If you don't see "home page," click "Navigator" under "Category" on the left side of the window.) Type in www.nytimes.com
4. Type in www.msue.msu.edu/genesee
