information on cherries for consumers, commercial buyers and growers.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's farmer
direct marketing web page. The web page provides a wide variety of resources and
information on this growing agricultural sector.

West Virginia University's Kearneysville Fruit Experiment
Station is an excellent site with lots of information and pictures. This site is always
improving!
The New York Experiment Station has lots of
information. Cornell's
Fruit Website includes Scaffolds
Newsletter is a source of information for Great Lakes region apple growers. Cornell's Fruit
Insect Fact Sheets from New York are excellent sources of basic information on many
important fruit pests and benefical insects.
Ontario's Ministry of Agriculture, Food and
Rural Affairs has a great deal of the bulletins on the web in English and French. They
also have some nice
links.
Virginia Tech's Fruit Home Page,
has lots good information from the Central Atlantic growing region. It contains lot of
information for commercial growers and a good spray guide for back yard growers which
works well in Michigan.
Washington State's Wenatchee Tree Fruit
Research Center is good as is the USDA/ARS
Tree Fruit Research Lab, and WSU's Chelan and Yakima counties extension offices.
PennState's Department of Horticulture publishes
Fruit Times and has posted the Pennsylvania Tree Fruit Production Guide which is excellent. They
also have a Small Scale Fruit Production Guide
which is geared more for the home owner and hobbyist.
Oregon State University maintains the Northwest Berry
& Grape Infonet it is the best source of information for all small fruit.
Purdue's Facts For Fancy Fruit is a
short letter for Indiana fruit growers.
Rutgers' Plant & Pest
Advisory Newsletter is posted at the Virtual Orchard.
The University of Vermont's, UVM
Apple Orchard has good information and a list of scab resistant apple cultivars.
Ohio State's Midwest Small Fruit web
site is also dedicated to small fruit and has many of Ohio's pest control recommendations
online.
The University of Illinios posts their Fruit
and Vegetable News.
University of Maine Apple IPM Site
The University of Massachusetts has both a Tree Fruit Team and a Small Fruits Team.
