MSUE Bulletins for Fruit Growers
We recommend the following MSUE publications and videotapes: (available at your county Extension office and at the MSU Bulletin Office, 10 B Agriculture Hall, East Lansing, Ml 48824-1039.)
These publications are intended to assist fruit growers in the selection of pesticides as they plan their pest control programs for the growing season. The insects and diseases are not always present or economically important in all fruit plantings each year. During every growing season, growers should adjust their pest control programs to fit their specific conditions. To provide a more complete understanding of the complexities of fruit culture, Michigan State University provides a Fruit IPM website on the Internet at http://ipm.msu.edu/fruit.htm.
The following compendia on diseases of fruit crops are available from APS Press, 3340 Pilot Knob Road, St. Paul, MN 55121-2097; phone: 1-800-328-7560: Apple and Pear Diseases; Blueberry and Cranberry Diseases; Grape Diseases; Stone Fruit Diseases; Strawberry Diseases; and Raspberry and Blackberry Diseases and Insects.
