Statewide Internship Opportunities for College Students

Internship opportunities are available in many of Michigan's 83 counties as well as on the MSU campus in East Lansing. Positions are available year round and are open to college students from all higher education institutions. Some offer stipends, mileage, or housing opportunities while many positions are unpaid.

Basic Requirements:

  • Personal computer skills
  • Word processing skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Ability to handle detailed information
  • Ability to work with, relate to, and respect diverse audiences (youth, adults, volunteers, etc.)
  • Ablility to speak in front of a group
  • Flexibility
