Peer Plus, Group Dynamite, and
Youth Experiencing Action (YEA)

The road to adulthood has many forks and branches, and the signs along the way are often contradictory and bewildering. You can help young people negotiate the road to adulthood with 4-H Peer Plus, Group Dynamite and Youth Experiencing Action (YEA) events and educational materials.

Peer Plus, Group Dynamite and YEA Learning Materials

  • Group Dynamite Notebook (4-H 1068)
The Group Dynamite Notebook offers activities designed to increase the group process skills of teens and adults. Participants learn problem-solving, decision-making and personal management skills in a group setting. Leadership skills and group dynamics are also a focus of the "learn-by-doing" format.
  • Peer-Plus II Notebook (4-H 1009)
The Peer-Plus II Notebook offers activities to help young people and adults improve their interpersonal communication skills. The program has been in use in Michigan for more than a decade and is also used extensively by youth-serving organizations and schools around the country.
  • Youth Experiencing Action! (YEA!) (4-H 1553) — YEA is a 4-H curriculum for young people aged 14 to 19 that also can be adapted to middle school. YEA activities may be used by any youth group interested in using experiential learning and community-based service learning activities in their program.

More information on learning materials available to support these activities can be found through the MSU Bulletin Office.
