The really cool
thing about 4-H is that you can do just about anything you want
to as part of your 4-H experience. In addition to local activities and events, there are many statewide, national and international events and activities. If you're not sure yet what it
is that you want to do, check out the opportunities listed below to see
what's possible!

Read Michigan 4-H Today to see what 4-H'ers are doing around the state and visit the Michigan 4-H Today Calendar for an extensive listing of upcoming statewide events. Take a look at these great opportunities to meet other 4-H'ers from around the state, country and world:
4-H at the "Joe"
In recognition of the Michigan State University Extension's 4-H Youth Development Program, the Detroit Red Wings are pleased to extend a special savings on tickets to select November & December home games. Each package includes 2 tickets to the game, 2 hot dogs, and 2 soft drinks for only $48. That's a savings of over 50% off box office prices!
Special MSU Basketball Event: 4-H Day with the MSU Women’s Basketball Team
On Sunday, January 25, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., MSU Extension 4-H Youth and their families are invited to join thousands of 4-H'ers from across the state at MSU’s Breslin Center to cheer on the MSU Women’s Basketball Team as they take on Wisconsin. As always, this event celebrates 4-H volunteers and youth, but this year, we’ll pay special tribute to our volunteers and youth who are participating in 4-H’s entrepreneurial activities. Most new jobs are created by small businesses, so what more important skills could 4-H teach young people than how to plan, create, market and sustain their own businesses? Several of these creative entrepreneur clubs will have their wares on display for you to browse and purchase, so don’t miss this chance to support Michigan’s youth business owners and future job creators!
