Michigan 4-H Horse & Pony Project Show Rules & Regulations

Revised January 2006 (formerly 4-H 1145)

This publication is intended to help standardize the judging and evaluation at 4-H horse shows throughout Michigan. It is provided online to make it more accessible to everyone who is involved in the Michigan 4-H horse program, and to reduce printing, storage and distribution costs.

Instructions to assemble 4" x 9" Book Version:

  1. Print smhorserulebk_book.pdf file on 8½" x 11" paper.
  2. Photocopy the file back-to-back (so it is printed double-sided).
  3. Trim 1" off the top, 1" off the bottom, ¼" off the left side and ¼" off the right side.
  4. Staple the center in two places to create the spine of the book.
  5. Fold the book in half.
