Stitchin’ in Time Sews More Than Blankets

Elaine Feldkamp

Washtenaw County 4-H ambassadors have been sharing skills and learning how to sew as they cut and stitch blankets for St. Joseph Mercy Hospital and U of M Mott Children’s Hospitals in the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti area. A goal of 110 blankets by November 1 has been set! In addition, these active teens are sponsoring a “Soup a Day” drive collecting cans of soup for the Ronald McDonald House of Ann Arbor and Chidester Place of Ypsilanti.
