North Central Regional Volunteer Forum to be held in South Dakota

By Julie Chapin

NCR Volunteer ForumThe 2005 North Central Regional Volunteer Forum is being held at the Ramkota Hotel and Convention Center in Rapid City, SD, November 10-13, 2005. This forum is designed for 4-H volunteers, by 4-H volunteers. It is a time of learning, development, rejuvenation and fun! It is a time to gather new and creative ideas to bring back home for use in your 4-H club or group, strengthen 4-H partnerships with others in our 12-state region, expand your horizons and explore new opportunities. Copies of the conference materials were mailed to county Extension offices in July. They can also be downloaded at http://4h.sdstate.edu.

This is an excellent conference for both new and experienced 4-H volunteers. Michigan has a delegation of adult and youth volunteers who attend each year. The North Central Regional Volunteer Forum is held annually in the Fall, and in 2006, the conference will be held in Rochester, Minnesota. If you are interested in attending, please see your county 4-H staff for registration information or visit the Web site at the address listed above.
