4-H Exploration Days – 35 years of success at Michigan State University

Exploration Days
4-H Exploration Days provides a unique opportunity for 4-H’ers to explore dorm life and classes on a Big Ten college campus.

By Judy Ratkos

The 35th 4-H Exploration Days was a tremendous success. More than 2,400 youth and adults from across the state converged on the MSU campus from June 22 to 24 for this MSU pre-college program. The event is for youth aged 11 and up and adult chaperons. (Youth must be age 11 by January 1.)

The next 4-H Exploration Days will be June 21 to 23, 2006. If you have session content or instructor suggestions, please share them with Pat Talbot at the State 4-H office, talbotp@msu.edu, before November 1, 2005. Registration fees will be determined later this fall. The registration book will be available from county MSU Extension offices by mid-March 2006, and on the Web site at http://Web1.msue.msu.edu/cyf/youth/expodays.html. Registrations will be due to your county MSU Extension office by May 5, 2006.
