The Michigan 4-H Emerald Clover Society reflects the ultimate outcome of 4-H membership—extraordinary use of an individual’s head, heart, hands and health to make our communities, our country and our world a better place in which to live.

Nominee selection is based on evidence of three or more years of Michigan 4-H youth membership, professional and business achievement, leadership in community service and philanthropy, contributions to or impact on American society, and significant leadership and achievement as a 4-H member.
