The Apple Information
Manager (AIM) is a collaborative Extension and research effort of the
Universities of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode
Island, and Vermont to deliver timely, relevant, and useful region-wide
apple production information to New England commercial apple growers via
the World Wide Web. AIM is also researching the use of daily, site specific
weather information that-- when combined with powerful insect pest and disease
prediction models -- will deliver accurate, easily implemented, IPM decision
making tools to all New England orchardists.
