Operating Procedures

 

Shared Work Team

 

The FRM AoE will operate as a shared work team where members will share the responsibility for the leadership, decision-making and productivity of the team. The AoE will comprise of 4-6 work teams, which will function independently to produce their goals for the year.

 

Meetings

Meetings will be held three times a year at various locations (one of which will be a retreat to focus on the next year’s work plan and one at Extension Conference.) Conference calls and/or additional face-to-face meetings will be used for committee meetings and updates between the committee chairs and the full team chairs of the AoE.

 

Ongoing Communication

Email using the FRM AoE listserv will serve as the major means of on going, intra team communication. The listserv address is: aoe_family@listserv.msue.msu.edu

 

To subscribe to the Family Resource Management listserv, send a message to majordomo@listserv.msue.msu.edu and put in the body of the message “subscribe aoe family”

 

To post a message to the listserv, use the following address:  aoe_family@msue.msu.edu (Do not put anything in the subject line and do not have anything else in the body of the email ie:  signatures, etc.)

 

Team Co-Chairs

Team co-chairs will serve in an organizational role, but will look to the membership for sharing of the functions listed above. Team co-chairs will serve in their role for two years.

 

Membership

Membership on the team is open to MSU campus and county Extension professional staff.

 

Advisory Group

Other MSU staff, community, business, and agency representatives will be identified to collaborate with the team as appropriate in an advisory group fashion to assist with current and potential FRM goals and programming opportunities. Advisory Group will be established and implemented through the Advisory Group programming committee.
